Internal links checker
Internal links checker lists same-host links found in page HTML. Review anchor text and destinations to investigate navigation and related-content connections.
Internal links checker: what this tool checks
Internal links checker extracts anchors whose resolved destination has the same hostname as the submitted URL. It lists addresses with their anchor text, giving editors a practical view of a page's internal connections. Use it to review navigation, related articles, or links added during a content update.
How to use it
- Submit the full URL of the page you are reviewing.
- Read the internal link count and inspect the destination list.
- Compare important destinations with the intended page structure and check whether their anchor text gives visitors useful context.
Understanding your results
Relative addresses are resolved against the submitted page. Fragment-only links and several contact link schemes are excluded. The report counts link elements rather than unique destinations, so repeated navigation entries can appear more than once. Links to a different subdomain are outside this same-host classification.
Frequently asked questions
Does the checker confirm every link works?
No. It discovers addresses in HTML but does not request every target to verify its status. Open important destinations or use a separate link availability review.
Can it audit the entire website architecture?
One run examines one fetched document. Review representative templates and important landing pages together when you need to understand broader navigation patterns or content discovery.
